Internal Scheme

Universitas Katolik Parahyangan has a vision to develop the eminence of local potential to reach an international level in order to enhance human dignity and the creation of integrity. In achieving its vision, Universitas Katolik Parahyangan aims to become a research-based university in terms of the learning process, knowledge development, and community service that is acknowledged both nationally and internationally. In other words, research activities and their results as well as community service will be the basis to improve material and learning process qualities.

Through research and community service activities, Universitas Katolik Parahyangan has a commitment to develop local potential, namely strength, eminence, and the original uniqueness of Indonesia (indigenous qualities), particularly in the West Java region. According to science, technology, and art managed by Universitas Katolik Parahyangan, this local potential must be developed creatively and critically, so that UNPAR is able to compete at the international level. Research and community service activities are also aimed at providing solutions to the real problems faced by the community and Indonesians as well, particularly in the West Java region.

Internal Scheme Research:

Internal scheme research covers research that is conducted by the lecturers of Universitas Katolik Parahyangan managed by the Research and Community Service Institute and funded by UNPAR. According to the Rector’s Decree of Universitas Katolik Parahyangan, Number: III/PRT/2013-01/013, Research Grant provides several schemes, namely:

  1. Research Grant of Junior Lecturers

Research team consists of the Head of Team with the highest functional position as Expert Assistant and an Advisor who has a functional position at least a senior lecturer who has a Doctoral Degree by way of educational background.

  1. Monodisciplinary Grant Research

A Research team consists of the Head of team who at least has a functional position as a senior lecturer, other lecturer members from the same study program, and also involving students.

  1. Multidisciplinary Research Grant

A Research team consists of the Head of Team who at least has a functional position as an associate professor and the other members must include at least one derived from different study program and also involving students.

  1. Postgraduate Research Grant

A Research team consists of the Head of Research who at least has a functional position as a senior associate professor, and the members at least are UNPAR master program students who are working on their theses, or one UNPAR Doctoral Program student who is working on his/her dissertation.

Research report published gradually two times a year, categorized into two clusters namely engineering and social science, and can be accessed on UNPAR e-journal.
